Growth Mindset: Embracing New Challenges

With the end of the semester quickly approaching and having less than a month to prepare for my trip, I find myself panicking.  I am not prepared at all and I need to put some pep into my step. I know everything will be alright, but I truly dislike being unprepared. Being unprepared makes me feel lost, and although this may sound silly, it’s true. Everything will work out in the end, it always does. =)

I found myself overcoming roadblocks for the past two months with decisions dealing with both my personal life and education.  In these past few months I reflect on how much I have grown and I’m proud of myself. I learned that is okay to take time out for myself. Things will not always be the way I would like, but there’s a reason why matters don’t always work in my favor.  Moreover, I also learned that I am a HUGE procrastinator, and that this trait may not change. I’m not just referring to the upcoming trip.  I’ve lost out on time, a lot of time because I waited until the last minute to either complete an assignment, delay scheduling meetings for important events, and so on.  I used to never be like this.  I was the student that completed assignments a month in advance after they received their syllabus and planned out my outfits two weeks to a month in advance. 

During that period of my life I may have had too much time on my hands…or I was just great at scheduling and being proactive!

But back to my main point of this post….this new journey that I will be embracing after graduation is an exciting one.  I am open to the challenges that I will face, and I believe they will make me a stronger and better person.  I know that the choices that I make in life are not please anyone but myself.  With every choice I make there is a consequence.  Whether the consequence is good or bad, I’m ready!

I used to be an adventurous person who was ready to pick up and travel around the world, and lately I have been playing it safe. I miss this person and I’m seeking to find her. Hopefully, she will emerge when I step foot into a different world.

אני שמתה שאנחנו מתח יליק עונה שנה שוחטופים בפרק הראשון נורית ואורי הם ביחד. נורית לא עם יקי כי היא אוהבת אורי. אסף לא מאושר. הוא כועס על נורית ויקי לא מבין.

יש טרוריסט בשק עבד אללה. הוא עובד עם עמיאל עבור גימאל. גימאל. גמאל לא חיי אז עבדאללה ועמי אל מעל הארגון. הם לא אובים אחד את השני.

אורי רוצה למצוא שות עמי יאל. הוא מבק שה לעזרה מנמרוד, חיים, ואיריס נמרוד לא רוצה למצוא את עמיאל והוא לא גר עם משפחתו.

Episode Two

 This episode answered many questions that I had about last season and the first episode of this season. With Nurit and Uri together and Assaf is not happy.  Yaki does not understand why his Nuritleft him for Uri. 

Abdullah does not trust Ami, but is working with him only because Jamaal asked him to. Jamaal passes away on this episode, and Abdullah makes it known to Ami he does not care to work with him.

Uri wants to find Ami with Nimrod, Dr. Haim, and Iris.  However, Nimrod feels that they should not go looking for Ami.  His presence should be left in the past.

Episode One 

[Episode one was intriguing to watch.  To see how the characters change for the better and worse was heart breaking, but I am ready to see what this season holds.]

Nurit and Uri are together and now live in the same home.  Uri wants this to be a fresh start for the two.  He wants to travel around Europe with Nurit and do the things they planned before he was held captive in war.

Talia and Nimrod are no longer living under the same roof.  They have separated, and he has found a place to live.  His life is consumed of parties and young girls, girls who are near Dana’s age and work with her. Talia is sad and confused. She stays in bed to sleep her problems away.

Ami (Amiel) and Abdullah buy bad things, and Ami is now a terrorist. 

Growth Mindset: Perseverance

Since Spring Break I have been able to set a schedule for when I need to complete assignments.  It has worked fairly well and now I am working on perseverance.

Last week I revisited a matter that many deal with, which is negativity. I consider myself a realist and I don't always have a positive outlook on things, and this past semester has had both ups and downs. More wins than losses.

With only a few weeks to go this semester I have began to procrastinate on assignments and my grades are reflecting the effort that I have been putting into my assignments.  Hopefully, taking time out for me and reevaluating where my time should be placed will help guide me to successfully completing my goals of graduating this semester.

מצב שיקר על הצבא. הוא לא רוצה להצטרף. מצב לא רוצה לה'חטף. דנה הרופא חופס אותו בחדר שלבנן שלו. אין לה בושה. חצב עובה את הבית וטילה מודאגת. נויות דברה עם יקי על אורי. היא דברה יקי מתלבל. אורי דיבר עם איריס. היא וחייק רצו לתפוס את אורי ונורית. יעק ואילן קרובים. היא לאר יכולה לראות את אחיה. פרק זה היה מאוד דרמטי. עמ אלחי. אני לא חובת שהוא היה. אני רוצא העונה השניה. אני רוצה לדעת אם עמיעל יחזור.הביתה עם איסמעיל, אואם הוא איש רע!   

Episode Ten (Season Finale) 

Hatzvah lied about his military tryouts and he does not want to join the IDF.  His sister Dana has no shame.  She is having relationship with her psychologist’s son, and while in her doctor’s, he catches her half-naked in his son’s bed. 

When Talia finds out that Hatzvah has been lying to her about his military training, he runs off and does not return home for the night. 

Uri and Nurit’s relationship has become less stressful, in a sense.  She tells Yaki about her feeling towards Uri and that she believes that Uri is the one for here.  Uri finally talks to Iris about his thoughts of her.

Yael and Ilan have grown closer and now are dating, but she’s heartbroken because she can no longer see her brother in her head.

This episode was dramatic to say in the least but now I know that Ami is alive and he is a bad man.  I wish that I was able to see season two!

דנה צר'כה עזרה. היא רעהו. הרופא שלה לא 'כול לעזור לה. היא שוכבת מדי ויש להבעיה רצינית! נמרוד לא רןצה לפגוש אנשים על הבעיות שלו. טליה דיברה אל האנשים. היא פגשה חברה חדשה ושתיתה קפה איתה. אורי יודע על איריס. איריס רוצה לדבר עם ואורי עם עבודתה, אבל היא לא. אורי ונורית אוהבים אחד את השני. נורית לא רוצה לדבר עם יקי, אבל היא צריכה. יוחר מאוחר בפרק, נמרוד רואה אישה. היא יודעת שלאמא שלה יש סוד.

Episode Nine 

Dana needs help and her doctor may not be able to help her.  She continues to lie in her sessions.

Talia wants Nimrod to speak to a self-help group, so he doesn’t feel alone.  He’s not ready to share his feelings and he doesn’t believe that he is suffering from anything.  When he and Talia do agree to meet for the group therapy, he tells her that this is not what he wants, and he leaves her.  Talia stays and meets with one of the group members for coffee.

Uri finds out that Iris and he no longer wants to talk to her or about her job.  He realized that he and Nurit are in love.  She does not want to speak to Yaki about her love for Uri but she knows it needs to happen.

נמרוד ואורי חוזרים אל העיר. הם הולרים לבר מצווה של אסף. טליה מדברת עם נמרוד והוא נשאיר. בבית הם מדברים עליו ואורי.נמרוד ואורי פגשו איש והאיש רצה כסף. נמרוד ואורי עזבו והלכו בעקבות האיש הביתה. הם פגשו אישה. היא לא אוהבת יהודים והיא לא מדברת  איתם. היא מכירה את גימאל. נמרוד יודע.

Episode Eight 

Nimrod and Uri return to the city and walk in during Assaf’s Bar Mitzvah.  Seeing Nimrod walk in, Talia urges Nimrod to speak to her.  Nimrod refuses to speak to Talia about his whereabouts and leaves the event.

[Before the Bar Mitzvah]

Nimrod and Uri met a man who asked them for money.  Not knowing who the man was, and the man mistaking them foe someone else, he asks Uri and Nimrod to leave his place of business.  As they walk back to their car, they see the man leaving the car garage and they follow him to his mother’s home.

Nimrod and Uri go into the woman’s home and ask her questions.  She realizes who they are and does not acknowledge them.  The woman does not like Jews and does not associate with them in any way, shape, or form.  Nimrod believes the woman knows Jamaal and she does.
